About this place
Eating pasta with chopsticks rather than a fork offers a relaxed, casual way to enjoy Japanese-Western fusion. Situated on the 1st basement floor of the Aoyagi Building, Goemon crafts a broad selection of creative noodles seasoned with traditional Japanese ingredients. Options like the carbonara with tarako (salted pollock roe), yuba (tofu skin), and mozzarella, or the seared tarako with tarako butter, rely on comforting dashi undertones and savoury roe for a flavour profile that feels grounded and easy to enjoy.
When you cannot decide on a single dish, the Half & Half plates let you sample two different preparations on one tray. Combinations such as the Camembert and crispy bacon carbonara paired with prawn and avocado genovese, or the aubergine and avocado tomato sauce served alongside mentaiko, prawn, and shimeji mushroom with green shiso, make it possible to alternate between rich and refreshing bites throughout your meal.
To round out the meal, sweet sets combine options like oven-baked sweet potato or seasonal strawberry desserts with coffee. The dining room includes counter seating, making it just as welcoming for solo diners seeking a fast, satisfying plate after work or while out shopping.
